Musicals

The Broadway Musical is one of the great American art forms. The Naxos Musicals series explores the original sounds of Broadway, ranging chronologically from the 1932 recording of Jerome Kern’s Showboat to the 1953 recording of Leonard Bernstein’s Wonderful Town. All recordings feature the original cast and also include rare bonus material. Transfers from historical material were made to the highest professional standards.
